Mind/Body Wellness Strategies for Amputees is the realization of a long awaited dream of Dr. Keith Cornell, CP, FAAOP, Co-Founder and President of Cornell O&P and Marsha T. Metzger, M.ed Harvard, KYTA, RYT, registered Kripalu Yoga teacher and Nationally Registered Yoga Instructor, Founder and Director of Endless Possibilities Yoga & Dance. These dedicated health professionals have created a unique workshop for Amputees which addresses their special needs, such as pain-relief, stress reduction, balance, and body-alignment, giving them a chance to ask questions and learn simple, enjoyable methods of yoga and mind/body wellness they can use at home to strengthen, relax and rejuvenate. The fee is only $75. Pre-payment and registration due by October 15th!

Workshop Schedule

10-10:45 Talk on Wellness Strategies, such as Qigong, Yoga, Deep Breathing, Stress Reduction, Nutrition, Body Alignment, Rest, Meditation Dealing with phantom pains, blisters, and other challenges unique to amputees in an integrated whole body way.

11-12 Yoga Class
12-1 Snacks with Question/Answer period
1-3 Yoga posture clinic with assessments
