Gentle Kripalu Yoga

is a meditative class which fuses Kripalu yoga for body awareness with restorative, more passive poses for deeper openings in the body and spirit. Appropriate for beginners, or anyone wanting to go more gently into their yoga practice.

Kripalu Yoga

Beginning Level

Kripalu Yoga, often called the yoga of compassion, teaches students to listen to their bodies and souls. Through inner quiet and meditation, students become aware of the body’s rhythms, concentrating on flow of breath (pranyama) and yoga postures (asana), to find within themselves a sense of balance, inner strength, confidence, calm and well-being.

Intermediate Level

builds on the foundation of Kripalu Yoga First Stage. Students will study further the physical and spiritual dimensions of asana, moving on to experience Kripalu Yoga second stage (holding the postures) and third stage (moving with prana). Must have studied with Marsha for at least one year.

Kripalu/Danskinetics ©/Shake Your Soul®,

is a joyous program of guided movement to marvelous world music, often with strong drum beats, a fluid, mesmerizing dance workout of both slow and aerobic movements, designed to release stagnant energies and toxins from the body. Sweat, dance, laugh, cry - fly! Students leave the class feeling stress free, light and alive.

Dancing From Our Source of Being

is a unique exploration of individual movement geographies, creating our personal biography in dance. This six week journey into the internal landscape begins with meditation, song and yoga. Students will dance themes from their lives expressing personal prayer, faith, needs, dreams, anger, suffering, family, trust, gifts and awakenings. Culminates in a period of writing from the core.

Wellness for Girls

is a workshop where we will learn yoga and breathing techniques, meditation techniques for centering (strength, confidence, calm, and focusing), natural cooking methods for health, aromatherapy, natural skin care, and compassionate self-awareness. Lunch always included.
